This tutorial will guide you through the steps required to clear the cache and cookies from the browser that comes with your Android-based phone.
Please note: the steps outlined in this guide are for the built-in, default Browser that comes with your Android phone. If you’re using a 3rd party browser that you downloaded from the Android Market (such as Opera or Firefox) – these steps won’t clear the cache and cookies from those browsers – just the default one.

- Open the browser and click the Menu button on your phone. Tap the More option.
- Tap Settings
- Scroll down to the Privacy settings section and tap the Clear cache option.
- Tap OK when prompted.
- Now tap the Clear all cookie data option.
- Again, tap OK
- That’s it – you’re done! The cache and cookies have now been deleted from your Android browser.
