How to clear the cache and cookies from your Android phone

This tutorial will guide you through the steps required to clear the cache and cookies from the browser that comes with your Android-based phone.

Please note: the steps outlined in this guide are for the built-in, default Browser that comes with your Android phone. If you’re using a 3rd party browser that you downloaded from the Android Market (such as Opera or Firefox) – these steps won’t clear the cache and cookies from those browsers – just the default one.

1. Open the browser and click the Menu button on your phone. Tap the More option.

2. Tap Settings

3. Scroll down to the Privacy settings section and tap the Clear cache option.

4. Tap OK when prompted.

5. Now tap the Clear all cookie data option.

6. Again, tap OK

7. That’s it – you’re done! The cache and cookies have now been deleted from your Android browser.
