Can i lock my personal folder with out using any software??



So, guys if you want to lock your folder with out using any software

than follow me..................

a. First let the name of folder is chirag then right click

the folder and you have to choose the Properties option


b. Now just select Security tab.

c. Now you have to select the Edit option.

d. Now just mark the option below Deny option and then press o.k. button.


Now click on Yes button

e. Now just click another O.K. button after this again.

f. In the same manner you can unlock it by clicking on Allow

instead of Deny

That's it you have done

    hi, security option is not available in win xp.

    Another way is :
    1.) The Name of the folder can be example "anything" .
    2.) Right Click Select "Rename"
    3.) Rename "anything.{59031a47-3f72-44a7-89c5-5595fe6b30ee}"
    4.) Press Enter

    Thats It The Folder Can not be opened
    not by double click , not by cmd , not be selecting explore from the right click menu .

    The Renaming works on XP and Win7 not tried in Vista though theoretically it should work .
