Hitwise data has been released for the most visited website of 2010. According to this Hitwise data, Facebook beats Google as the most visited website site in US for 2010. Really it’s a very shocking news that Facebook beats Google. As Google is a search engine so every day lots of people visit it to search up their topics. So the chances for Google to become the most visited website are high at the same time Facebook is just a social networking website. Still Facebook has topped Google as the most visited website of 2010.
Well, Between January and November 2010, Facebook.com took 8.93% of site visits and it is placed at the top position of the list. While Google.com took 7.19% of site visits and placed at the second position of the list. Yahoo! Mail took 3.52% of site visits and it is placed at the third position of the list. Yahoo.com took 3.30% of site visits and it is placed at the fourth position of the list. YouTube took 2.65% of site visits and it is placed at the fifth position of the list. Msn.com is at the 6th position. Myspace.com is at the 7th position of the list. Mail.live.com is at the 8th position of the list. Search.yahoo.com is at the 9th position of the list. Bing.com
is the 10th position of the list.
Well, Still Google is more popular than Facebook because Hitwise data states that all Google websites combined cover up 9.85% of all website visits.
