- On an empty space on your Desktop, right-click and select Personalize.
- The Personalization window will open. In the bottom left corner, look for the Display link. Click it.
- In the Display settings window, select the Medium – 125% radio button for larger font. If you want to further customize the font size, then follow step 4 & 5, otherwise jump to step #6.
- For customized font size, click on the link titled Set custom text size (DPI).
- A new Custom DPI Setting window will open with a scale displaying the Pixels Per Inch (PPI) values. From the drop down list, select the appropriate percentage of how large you want the font size to be. Click OK to close the window.
- Click the Apply button in the Display window. It will ask you to log off your system to allow for the changes to take effect. Save any open work and click the Log off now button.
- When you sign back in, your Windows 7 font size will be adjusted to your new settings. If you want to make any further changes, just start from the beginning and repeat the steps until you’re happy with the font size.
